However, a building ridge of high pressure will clear out clouds in the southwest this afternoon, before sunshine will return to the southeast later in the day. Afternoon high temperatures across the south should reach between 7 C and 10 C.

Showers or drizzle this afternoon will end this evening in most areas, including Winnipeg and Brandon. In most areas, daytime highs between 6 C and 8 C are expected. The southeast corner around Sprague can’t rule out a few flurries earlier this afternoon until temperatures warm up enough to flip over to showers. The same can be said for northwestern Ontario. In northwestern Manitoba, expect light rain or showers in The Pas Wednesday afternoon.
