Tied at one, Brock Campbell sprinted down the sideline on his way to scoring to give the Scorpions the lead. While North Brunswick was serving a penalty, Svend Mathiesen scored to pull even again for the Cougars. Connor Pahe then scored to give the home side a 3-2 lead, which would hold until halftime.
