  • County looks at proposed new regulations for wineries

    By Craig Baracco| Ledger Dispatch Verified The Amador County Board of Supervisors discussed new regulations for wineries at its latest meeting on Tuesday, July 25. In an effort to decrease noise and other impacts on neighboring properties, the Board’s Land Use sub-committee proposed adding new setback requirements for certain uses associated with wineries. For large events, such as weddings or other gatherings of more than 125 people, a new setback requirement of 400 feet from property lines would be required.
