I did not know this particular bit of trivia, but was immediately intrigued. She had heard from a patron that Anne Perry had helped her friend murder her mother in the 1950’s. I am sure this is not news to true crime fans, as the Parker-Hulme murder case of 1954 is a famous New Zealand story.

I had been primed by a co-worker who had already seen the film, who told me the movie is very mid and basically follows a cookie-cutter biopic formula. Maybe it was because I went in with lower expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoy this Bob Dylan biopic. I am not a big fan of Bob Dylan, or any music from the sixties really.
