Biography

I have cultivated a career in journalism for the past 10 years, receiving my BA in Communications with a concentration in Media Studies from Cal State University-San Bernardino in 2018. I have contributed articles and copy editing expertise to publications like Borrowing Tape, the Los Angeles Times, The Desert Sun, Palm Springs Life, Coachella Magazine, Locale Magazine, and Desert Health. I currently work as Head Feature Writer for Coachella Valley Weekly, where I contribute articles to be published online on a weekly basis. Most notably, I have covered the COVID-19 pandemic and how it has affected the Coachella Valley—with the cumulative page views of my articles amassing to over seven thousand views. Writing is what I love to do and where most of my passion manifests. I am determined to take part in a career that enables me to utilize my skills and interests in a professional setting.
