Cynthia R. Stewart, A Brief Overview Quiet? Creative? Passionate? Yes! Sentence Formulation? "Quietly creative and passionate about life in the written word." I have spent a lifetime enjoying the art and talent of reading and writing, initially for learning, then for pleasure then back to learning, when I chose to obtain a BA degree in Journalism. I then began to build my writing career with a community newspaper, reporting and penning feature articles. I gladly began leading teams performing freelance PR and communications for church congregations and a few non profits I worked with for over 20 years. During this time period, I also managed to launch a career from a Communications position in a Healthcare Public Relations Dept. into an employment position in Human Resources. The promotions kept coming, as I advanced to the role of Corporate Diversity Practitioner in the healthcare setting, moving from Coordinator to Manager then Director and a few other leadership terms. In each role, I did most of my own brochures, event and program announcements, promos etc. and ultimately provided an expansive journalistic foundation for any writer to build upon. Professionally and by definition, I would be viewed as an expert in the areas in which I have worked, and yes, I have been quiet, creative and passionate about the work that I have done - every step of the way!
