According to the Baltimore Longitudinal Study of Aging, approximately 20 percent of men older than 60 have low testosterone levels, 30 percent of men over 70 do, and 50 percent of men over 80. There has been some confusion about how this should be treated, if at all. The American College of Physicians (ACP) has issued new evidence-based clinical practice guidelines, published in the January 6, 2020, issue of Annals of Internal Medicine.
