Steven George King, 57, was in Shasta County Superior Court to set a new date for his next court appearance, but also attending the hearing and sitting in the gallery were Shasta County Supervisor Chris Kelstrom, members of a local militia group and liberal activists Benjamin and Jenny Nowain.
