Dan launched the Certified Organic Food Directory in 2003 and Natural Food magazine in May 2005. In 2007, Dan joined M2Media360 as Natural Food Network’s editor-in-chief. He was named editor-in-chief of Specialty Coffee Retailer the following year. He is the former publisher of LA411, NY411, Digital 411, Animation Magazine and the founding editor of Below the Line, a Hollywood magazine for film and video production crews. Dan worked as a newspaper reporter and editor in California for 20 years before starting his magazine career. The average export price per kilo declined sharply by 19.8% to $3.80 per kilo in 2024. Seven of China’s top 10 trading partners in 2024 paid less per kilo for Chinese tea than in 2023. China held a 14.2% revenue share of the global tea market in 2023.

Trump’s Feb. 13 memorandum instructs his administration to eliminate trade imbalances by pursuing reciprocal tariffs against nations that put fees on US exports. He writes that the objective is to level the playing field by ensuring that US tariffs match those of other countries.
