Dan Fost is the author of the baseball books “The Giants Baseball Experience” and “Giants Past and Present,” which celebrate the history of San Francisco's championship baseball team. He also wrote all the content for "Dynasty," the San Francisco Chronicle's magazine about the world champion 2014 San Francisco Giants, and "Unstoppable," the Chronicle's tribute to the 2015 NBA champion Golden State Warriors. Dan is a freelance writer whose credits include The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, USA Today and San Francisco magazine. As a business and technology writer on staff at the San Francisco Chronicle for nine years, Dan had a front row seat at the rise and fall of the dotcoms. In a lengthy career in newspapers, he has covered sports, social ventures, the environment, education, police, business, and politics.
