So this is one of those crazy stories that is just so outlandish, so incredibly dumb that the average person immediately suspects it has to involve the federal government. And that person, average or not, would be correct. For some reason federal bureaucrats got in in their heads that this country was short of chicken. We don’t know where they got that idea.

It happened back in May when she released her book. While unsaid, the book was her coming-out-party. That is, her chance to introduce herself to the country and garner favorable publicity to enhance her chances of being selected as Trump’s running mate. And it might have happened if not for that damn dog.
