Or at least, that’s what most local news coverage has said. But a new poll suggests that, in fact, a “silent majority” favors more homes and is waiting for the County Council to make a move. Attainable Housing Strategies, or AHS, is Montgomery County’s effort to create more homes for more budgets in more places in a place where the median home price is $635,000.
