It was the fall of 2021, and the university was just beginning to recover from COVID-19. As Campus Dining rebuilt their operations, students were furious with what they saw. As a first-year student with less than one month of experience at Vanderbilt, I decided to contribute to the conversation by calling on students to advocate for change.
