By Danielle Ferguson| WCCB-TV (Charlotte, NC) Verified CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police have identified the victim of a stabbing at the Charlotte Transportation Station in Uptown. On Thursday, just after 1 p.m., police were called to the 300 block of East Trade Street for an assault with a deadly weapon call. Officers say the found 21-year-old Leashan McBeath at the scene suffering from stab wounds. Medic transported McBeath to the hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

Hickory Police say on Thursday night, at 9:57 p.m., they found 22-year-old Mason Cole Pridemore, dead from a gunshot wound inside of a vehicle in a parking lot on 29th Avenue Drive Northeast. At this time, police have not said if any arrests have been made or a if a suspect is in custody.
