  • Louisville snow forecast: Area under winter storm watch until Wednesday

The National Weather Service issued both the winter storm watch and a flood watch for southern Kentucky through Tuesday night with 1-2 inches of rain possible Monday evening through Tuesday. "An impactful storm system will spread a broad swath of moderate accumulating snow across parts of central Kentucky during the day Tuesday," the NWS said in a Monday morning press release.
