Biography

🚗✍️ With over 1,400 published articles and a career spanning editorial leadership, photography, and on-camera storytelling, I bring a seasoned voice to any content project. From SEMA, Goodguys, CorvetteBlogger and Power Automotive Media, I’ve helped shape the narrative of the automotive world - but my curiosity doesn’t stop at horsepower. Whether it’s crafting compelling copy, developing social media strategies that drive engagement, or digging into untold stories through interviews and research, I thrive on connecting ideas with audiences. I’ve stood behind the lens, in front of the camera, and at the editor’s desk — and I’m ready to bring that full-spectrum experience to your next project. 📸🎙️ Need a sharp wordsmith, ghostwriter, visual storyteller, or someone who can riff on camera with ease? Let’s talk. I’m open to collaborations across industries — because good storytelling knows no boundaries. Let me know what you need. I’ll bring the narrative. Want to tailor it for a specific audience or platform? I can help you shape variations for recruiters, brands, or media outlets. How may I help?

  • Provost Customs Delivers on a Custom 1966 Chevy C10 that turns others Green with Envy

By Dave Cruikshank| Fuel Curve@ It would be easy to dust off a gaggle of tired nicknames to give to this ’66 Chevy C10 pickup that belongs to Todd Hoos. The Hulk, the Green Machine, or Aqua Man would all fit perfectly. But Todd’s Chevy, built by Provost Customs, isn’t so easily pigeonholed. When it was selected as a finalist for the 2025 Dakota Digital Truck of the Year Late, the winter mint green hauler felt more like a breath of fresh air.

  • Hill's Hot Rods' Hard Rocking, Flame Broiled 1996 Chevy is Absolutely Bitchin'

By Dave Cruikshank| Fuel Curve@ If you’re a fan of the rock band Van Halen, the age-old conundrum of Dave or Sammy always rears its head. We love both versions of the band, but dig Sammy’s music from his earlier career best, especially when he was with Montrose. The guys over at Hill’s Hot Rods have a soft spot for Sammy too.
