Ament was chosen among 28 players participating in a five-day training camp in Colorado Springs. The team will compete in the 2024 FIBA U18 Men's AmeriCup in Buenos Aires, Argentina June 3-9. Ament is a rising senior at the Highland School in Warrenton. He spent his first two years of high school at Colgan before transferring to Highland for the 2023-24 school year.
