Biography

Busy young reporter covering municipal government and city politics in Fort Wayne, Indiana for The Journal Gazette. I have a B.A. in journalism from Northern Illinois University, and I have an M.A. from the Public Affairs Reporting program at University of Illinois - Springfield. While in Springfield I spent six months as the statehouse intern for Chicago Daily Law Bulletin, covering the loud, obnoxious scene that is Illinois politics. Prior to that I spent a year in Macomb, Illinois as a general assignment reporter for the McDonough County Voice. I'm from the northwest suburbs of Chicago, moved to Fairfax County, Virginia during high school, and back to Illinois for college and work before heading to Northeast Indiana.
