(WCIV) — A tornado watch has been issued for parts of South Carolina as well as Georgia Monday afternoon. The watch covers the entire Lowcountry of South Carolina from the Savannah River to the Santee River, according to the National Weather Service. The watch expires at 1 a.m, but could possibly be extended longer based on the conditions. This comes as the Lowcountry continues to feel the impacts of Tropical Storm Debby, which made landfall as a Hurricane in in Florida.
