The human caused Big Hollow Fire started shortly after 5:00 pm on Thursday evening. Although the flames are known to be human caused the fire are still under investigation. The Big Hollow Fire is located to the hills south of the town of Daniels, which is just south of Heber City. By 9:40 pm the fire had grown to 300 acres and come down the hill encroaching on Daniels
