• Trump administration places homeless agency staff on administrative leave

• Denver renews $3.1 million homeless hotel contract with St. Francis Center

  By David Heitz| NewsBreak@ The Denver City Council approved Monday a $3.1 million contract for St. Francis Center to continue operating the Comfort Inn and Suites at 4685 Quebec as a homeless shelter. The contract, in effect since December 2023, was extended through the end of this year. The council also voted Monday to sub-lease the hotel to St. Francis Center.
