He was back in Muscatine this month, 16 years after his time at MCC. Growing up in Egypt, Lasheen had never seen snow. He had heard about it. He had seen pictures of snow-covered areas. But that morning when he looked out of his apartment window and saw snow falling, he was enthralled. He remembers rushing outside to feel the light flakes falling from the winter night.
