By David Hudnall Verified| Kansas City Star Verified Charisse has closed in downtown Kansas City. "After many wonderful years of serving our amazing guests, we are closing the door on this chapter of our lives," reads a note posted Thursday to the door at 1006 Walnut St. "It has been an honor to serve you, and we will miss you all. Sorry for the temporary inconvenience while a new spot is envisioned." The restaurant's signage has also been removed from the black dome awning out front. Chef-owner Jason Craine did not respond to a request for comment.
