During the search, he produced a cling film-wrapped package from his underwear containing cocaine, cash, and a mobile phone. The drugs were valued at just over €17,000.

The searches began yesterday, Wednesday, along a stretch of riverbank and wetlands off the Condell Road. Search and rescue units and other local emergency service personnel are assisting Gardaí in their search. Gardaí remained tight lipped about the nature and circumstances of the search operation. It’s understood Gardaí remained at the scene of a search area overnight and resumed searching this morning.
