Biography

Davis Buyondo is an experienced award-winning multimedia journalist, audio producer and digital safety trainer based in Uganda (East Africa). With a Degree in Mass Communication, he largely reports on Environment, Agriculture, Health, Science, Tourism, cross-border crime, illicit finance and Human Rights issues across print, electronic/online platforms. He’s an exceptional storyteller and interviewer with over 10 years of experience and proven success in influencing social media platforms to increase public engagement. His work has been published in the New Vision newspaper / newvision.co.ug, Uganda Radio Network (News agency), Chinaafricaproject.com, Africa21.org, infonile.org, insightpostug.com, and eyewitnessug.com and some have been captured by Muck Rack. In his professional career, he has directly mentored at least 30 journalists and 20 audio producers who are employed in different media organisations.
