  • Easter weekend brings unseasonably warm weather

By Deitra McKenzie Verified| WTOK-TV (Meridian, MS) Verified MERIDIAN, Miss. (WTOK) -An upper-level ridge of high pressure is sitting over our region, and it’s leading to warmer than average temps. Highs will be 5-10 degrees above the norm this Easter weekend with mid-upper 80s on Saturday and mid 80s on Sunday. Mornings will be very mild as well... starting with 60s. A developing system to our west will gradually move towards us, so winds will remain a bit breezy ahead of it.
