Prior studies have investigated the effect of changes in torso mass and total body mass on peak knee contact forces, but the effects of increased leg mass remain unclear.

The Lakers started the tournament against Northwood University (6-1). Northwood came out strong, dominating in the first set. Throughout, Northwood went on multiple three point runs and took the lead with an eight point run, winning the set 25-20.
