Tim Elphick called a “good news, bad news” situation, Brockton Council found out costs for having an active courthouse in the municipality will increase 68 per cent this year. During its April 8 meeting, Trish Serratore, chief financial officer informed council that the court security and prisoner transportation costs for 2025 are estimated to cost $894,993, up from $417,946 in the previous year.
