Val Kilmer passed away in his home on Tuesday. His daughter first confirmed the sad news to the NY Times. The cause of death was pneumonia. Kilmer had previously suffered from throat cancer but recovered in 2014. His battle with the disease – and life behind the camera – can be seen documented in the 2019 documentary Val. During his time in Hollywood, Kilmer appeared in dozens of films.
