Bunsic, who has never lost a regular-season game to a district opponent, tossed a three-hitter and struck out 13 as West improved to 12-5-2 for the season and stayed perfect at 5-0 in league play.

Sophomore Elle Proffitt blanked the Lady Hurricanes on four singles as the Lady Red racked up the win. Cocke County is now 1`9-3-1 for the season while East fell to 13-8-1. Proffitt was in control from the start as only one East runner made it as far as second base. She walked only two and registered 10 strike outs.
