Biography

I'm the Sustainability Editor at the Margate Mercury. I was also the sustainability editor at Wanderlust Magazine and created the 2025 Green List. I completed an MSc in Environment and Sustainability in 2020 and use this to inform my approach to travel topics. Before that I worked as a photographer and writer and have 20+ years’ experience in travel publishing. I've written for a range of outlets including The Guardian, Rough Guides, The Independent, Adventure.com, LOVEexploring and Travel Weekly among others. I had a regular column on Responsible Photography in GreenTraveller Magazine and I was one of the founding editors at Eye for the Light from Travel Photographer of the Year.
