Police responded to the crash in the area of Highway 43 and Range Road 230, near Valleyview, around midnight. The driver tried to avoid the cyclist but couldn’t, police added. The cyclist died on scene.

  • 3 killed in crash northeast of Edmonton

    By Diego Romero Verified| CFRN-TV (Edmonton, AB) Verified Three people are dead after a two-vehicle crash northeast of Edmonton late Tuesday afternoon. RCMP were called to a crash involving a minivan and a semi-truck at the intersection of Highway 29 and Highway 36 in the County of St. Paul just after 5:15 p.m.The minivan failed to stop and was struck by the semi, RCMP said. Three people – a man and a woman, both 29, from Saddle Lake Cree Nation and a 21-year-old woman from Edmonton – died on scene.
