Dominic Gutoman is a journalist based in Manila. He is handling its partnerships, reader engagement, and the integration of community engagement in news distribution, advocacy, and campaign programs. He is also the Chairperson of the National Union of Journalists of the Philippines - Bulatlat chapter. Last year, he worked as a Consultant for Development Innovation Insider, a media organization operating across the Philippines, Myanmar, and China, scaling up initiatives of grassroots organizations through storytelling and content production. In 2023, he also provided services for the Commission on Human Rights of the Philippines, mainstreaming human rights promotion in duty-bearing institutions and civil society. He also spearheaded the accreditation of the Human Rights Institute in the Professional Regulation Commission, integrating human rights courses in various professions for free.
