By Don Seabrook Verified| Wenatchee World Verified Construction of the railroad through Waterville is pictured on June 27, 1910. The railroad depot, seen at right is being built along South Rainier Street with the Douglas County Courthouse at left. The courthouse was constructed five years earlier. The railroad tracks are gone but the depot, now a home, and courthouse seen through the trees still remain in this photograph taken July 18, 2023. The town’s swimming pool is out of the photograph at left.
