The Rocking R Solar project is around 1,000 acres and is located in Caddo Parish right by I-49. The project will be able to power roughly 20,000 Louisiana homes. The project has been led by DESRI, and SWEPCO will be purchasing energy from it. Louisiana Public Service Commissioner Foster Campbell says this will encourage people to want to move here and stay here.
