Emory, the longtime Atlanta traffic anchor on 95.5 WSB and Channel 2 Action News from the WSB Skycopter, died from a heart attack after rescuing teenagers from a flipped car in front of his house. He was helping Douglas County officers direct traffic around the Mount Vernon Road scene when he collapsed. He had just turned 61.
