The victim, who is referred to as “Jane Doe” in the lawsuit, alleges that Newman sexually abused her when she was nine years old and accuses Kanakuk of allowing Newman to remain employed despite knowing he was a danger to children before she attended Kanakuk. The victim is also demanding a jury trial.
