In a notice posted to the Village website, officials say this is not an order to leave homes, but due to the potential threat to life and health, an Evacuation Alert has been issued. Residents are asked to prepare to evacuate if necessary, and more information from the Village of Chase will be issued at noon Friday (Aug. 6).

A release from the Office of Chief / Kukpi7 Rosanne Casimir says the TteS Moderna supply has arrived. Clinics will begin this week out of Moccasin Square Garden, and can be booked through Q’wemtsin Health Society at 250-314-6732. There are no walk-ins accepted at this time, and clients are asked to wear a medical grade mask for their appointment.
