Marion was born in Burlington on Nov. 8, 1936, to Elmer and Margaret (nee Furman) Tesch. She grew up in Burlington and was a lifelong resident. She attended Alverno College and Union Grove Teachers College receiving her bachelor’s degree in education. Immediately after receiving her degree, she started teaching first grade at St. Mary’s in Burlington.

Pam led a life full of passion and service. Graduating from Park High School in 1966 and later attending the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, her journey was marked by her unwavering dedication to her interests and community. Always an avid horse and dog-lover, Pam began showing horses in 1958.
