• Office of Greek Life confirms students affiliated with former DKE chapter initiated into SAE

  By Ekta Anand, parker SMITH| Vanderbilt Hustler Verified Upon its return to campus this fall, Vanderbilt’s Tennessee Nu chapter of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity extended bids to uninitiated students associated with Vanderbilt’s former chapter of Delta Kappa Epsilon Fraternity, according to the Office of Greek Life. SAE National Fraternity previously said in a statement to The Hustler that it would not engage with former initiated DKE members nor “underground” organizations upon the chapter’s return to campus.

The Vanderbilt Hustler, known as The Hustler, is the primary student newspaper at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. Established in 1888, it is the oldest continuously published student newspaper in the state. The publication became student-run in 1917 and transitioned to a fully digital format in 2016. The Hustler offers comprehensive news coverage of university-related topics, including academic, administrative, and campus safety issues.
