During a special township board meeting on Friday, at which the board voted on hiring a new park manager (see accompanying story), Supervisor Leigh Murray announced that Yolanda Lane and Nancy Snyder had both applied for the treasurer position, which was vacated when Forrest Herzog recently resigned.

The township board on April 15 interviewed two candidates, Gary Croff and Eric Hillard, and then voted at a special meeting last Friday to hire Croff.
