Biography
Graduated in Near Eastern Archaeology from Sapienza University of Rome, Emiliano has worked with various archaeological missions in Italy and abroad (Syria and Turkey). A lifelong comics enthusiast, he decided to study scriptwriting in his forties at the ComicOut Online School of Comics. As a writer, he has collaborated with several publishing outlets, including the weekly magazine Internazionale. Together with Alessio Lo Manto, he created the archaeologist characters Isa and Melano, who first appeared in a short comic for Ex-NOVO Journal of Archaeology, followed by some strips for the Italian Confederation of Archaeologists, and later in the graphic novel Diario di Scavo.
