The Bethel Township Board of Supervisors unanimously agreed to the low bid of $236,224 for a pipe replacement along Tree Line Ave. at its monthly meeting Thursday. While none of the three supervisors were happy about the cost to replace the underperforming and failing pipe, supervisor and roadmaster Michael Saphore said he felt the work is necessary. “I’d like to go forward with it,” said Saphore.

• Millcreek Township supervisors field concerns about walking path

The Millcreek Township Board of Supervisors on Wednesday heard neighbor concerns about a walking path planned for the 14-acre open field adjacent to Abbey Lane and Progress Drive. Though bids for the project have already been awarded, supervisors opted to look into the matter further before directing construction to begin.
