Emily Williams is a journalist studying at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Emily is the editor-in-chief of the university's largest student-run publication, The Miami Student. Along with a weekly print edition, the Student produces audio, video and multimedia content, as well as a bi-weekly newsletter. In May, Emily will graduate with honors from Miami with two degrees: a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the Farmer School of Business. Right now, Emily is working with the Springfield News-Sun, covering general and breaking news for the Clark and Champaign counties. She spent last summer in Columbus, Ohio working as a Metro desk reporter for The Columbus Dispatch and listening to jazz on Wednesday nights.
