Currently a freelance journalist and editor. I was formerly Managing Editor for www.salaamgateway.com, that focuses on the global Islamic Economy, from its launch in 2015 to Sep 2021. I have been covering Islamic finance since 2010, and other Islamic economy sectors since 2015. I am also author of the book "Global Leaders in Islamic Finance: Industry milestones and reflections" (Wiley, 2013). I was previously Editor of Thomson Reuters' Islamic finance research team that produces industry studies and reports.
