Wines by Walter Gehringer, most of them from estate vines tended by his brother, Gordon, were awarded five Platinum Awards during the 2023 Platinum Awards. Last year, the Golden Mile Bench producer became only the second winery in the 24-year judging to have earned more than 100 career Platinums.

Led by co-owner/winemaker Larry Harris, the Snohomish County-based winery dominated the 24th annual Platinum Awards, pulling down nine Platinums during the judging staged by Great Northwest Wine. No other winery matched that total.
