In Game 2, the Mounties responded, pulling out a 4-1 win. Northwest Lucy Bivens got out of a bases-loaded jam in the first with back-to-back strikeouts, then drove in the game’s first run in the bottom of that inning with a double to center to score Ava Golightly.

However in Game 1, the Beavers were able to close out a 9-7 win and in Game 2, Harper Creek responded with runs of its own in the sixth inning to claim the sweep. In the second game, after the Beavers had taken a 1-0 lead on a James Leamy double in the fifth to drive in Maddox McCarty, the Mounties responded in the bottom of that inning.
