• Coventry trustees hear road resurfacing details

Road Superintendent Lael Stouffer said this year for the first time there will be two contractors performing resurfacing in the township. He said one contractor is performing 405 motor pave and the other will perform 422 chip seal. The type of work being performed depends on the condition of the road.

Hoban chemistry and physical science teacher Diane Vrobel said she began teaching the forensics course in January. The course came about after Vrobel was selected by Vernier Science Education to join the newly formed Vernier Trendsetters Community.

• Hoban boys lacrosse off to a strong season start, defeat STVM

  By Eric Poston Verified| Akron.com Verified DOWNTOWN AKRON — The Archbishop Hoban High School boys lacrosse team improved to a 7-1 record on the season following a 21-3 win over St. Vincent-St. Mary (STVM) High School April 14. Hoban coach Daniel Clem said the team has had a pretty successful start to the season and is averaging 15 goals a game. “Our goal is to keep playing lacrosse into June and make it to states,” Clem said. “We hope to keep getting better as a team and keep progressing.
