Biography

Diligent and dependable marketer supporting the Loyalty Marketing Enablement Team at American Express' New York-based office. With a print and audio journalism background, I bring experience covering a variety of topics relating to politics, policy, real estate, and affordable housing. I'm interested in audience engagement, and working cross-functionally with partners and agencies to facilitate and execute end-to-end campaigns. Previously, I supported brand activations and digital campaigns as a marketing associate at luxury tea company, The Qi, working to execute new product launches through event planning and community-building efforts. I styled, photographed, and edited food-based images for e-commerce, managed social media accounts, and tracked and analyzed engagement. I also produced and launched The Qi’s first audio and video podcast and fostered relationships with hundreds of content creators to expand and grow the brand. In my spare time, I write for City & State magazine, a New York-based publication focused on political and policy-driven stories, most recently producing their NYC 40 Under 40 list. I also write for my alma mater's magazine, curating print and web content for the university's alumni audience. Previously, I was a reporting fellow at City Bureau, a civic journalism lab in Chicago, working alongside a team of four reporters to cover the city's promise to build affordable housing on the South Side. I also worked at Bisnow, a commercial real estate news outlet, covering breaking news and deeper enterprise reporting on Chicago's CRE industry. My passion for audio journalism began at WFUV News, an NPR-affiliate radio station based in the Bronx, covering the city's affordable housing crisis and anchoring weekly for the station. I continued working in audio reporting at WNYC's The Brian Lehrer Show and at The 21st at Illinois Public Media where I was an associate producer and head of engagement, developing marketing strategies to grow a more diverse audience. I'm especially passionate about local politics, campaign management, and empowering agencies through meaningful and strategic communication.
