The city has stepped up the efforts to pick up trash along our highways and in our neighborhoods. And now this clean up initiative is getting noticed. Only one Louisiana city is listed as one of the top 30 dirties cities in the country. The survey by Lawnstarter.com puts New Orleans as #29 on this list. Shreveport was #11 on this same report a year ago, but now Shreveport checks in at #53. That’s a HUGE improvement.

In fact, nationwide spending for Easter is likely to close in on $23.6 billion. This would close in on the record spent in 2023 of $24 billion. The annual survey from the National Retail Federation puts last year’s Easter spending at $22.4 billion. One of the biggest increases you will see this year will be on eggs.
